VIGIL is being built by a small team that has spent time around real security operations — and got tired of watching good footage go unused because nobody had time to find it.
Most video software is built to store footage, or to draw boxes around people and call it intelligence. Very little of it is built to help a human investigator actually work a case — get from an incident report to real evidence, quickly, without pretending to know more than the footage proves. That gap is what VIGIL exists to close.
Claims about the product, the company, and what it can do are held to the same standard as the evidence VIGIL surfaces: do not say more than you can back up.

If the footage does not support a conclusion, the product should say so instead of quietly filling in the gap.

Build alongside the people who actually work incidents day to day, and design for their workflow — not a demo reel.

That applies to the product's limitations as much as to a single investigation. Better to say what is not built yet than let someone assume it is.
VIGIL is early. Work is happening directly with property and security teams across multifamily, HOA, golf, campus, hospitality, retail, and commercial properties to shape the product around real incidents, not hypothetical ones.
